Adjusting Existing Schedules (Assignments)

To adjust the dates of an existing Schedule (assignment), click Class and select the class you want to make the changes to.

Click View Class Calendar to show the current calendar for this class.

One way to adjust the dates is to click the Schedule (assignment) and drag it to a new date on the calendar. This will not change the length of the Schedule (assignment). If you move the Schedule (assignment) forward in the calendar, all following Schedules (assignments) will be bumped forward as well. Overlapping of the Schedules (assignments) will not take place.

If you drag a Schedule (assignment) back in the calendar, overlapping may occur. To avoid overlapping, move the first Schedule (assignment) in the series. This will allow the other Schedules (assignments) to follow suit without overlapping.

If you move a Schedule (assignment) other than the first in the series, overlapping will occur. As Synergy ITC is Calendar based, adjusting dates will impact the student assignment window. If there are overlapping Schedules (assignments) on the Class Calendar, students will have both assignments in their Assignment window.

Schedules (assignments) can also be moved by grabbing the end of the Schedule (assignment) bar. This allows the Schedules (assignments) to become shorter or longer in length. This will most likely result in an overlap of Schedules (assignments) unless the following Schedules (assignments) are also adjusted accordingly.
